Made of black plastic so they will bend, not break like the stock Styrofoam & cardboard shades. The inside of the shade is textured and the outside is smooth. Clearly marked Driver or Passenger on outside. Attaches with 3M Dual Lock fasteners. Easy to use; illustrated instructions included.
Sold as a pair, includes a shade for each side.
Will fit 1982, 1983, 1984, 1985, 1986, 1987, 1988, 1989, 1990, 1991, 1992 Camaro, Firebird & Trans Am with factory installed T-tops.
*Please note: There are two types of T-Tops for '82-'92 Models. Identify which type you have by measuring the outside of t-top glass length where the glass fits under the center T-bar:
Factory Installed T-Tops (Fisher) = 30-1/4"
Aftermarket Installed T-Tops (Cars & Concepts) = 28"

Fast shipping and pretty solid shades. The 3M velcro sticky side is pretty strong. Would suggest leaving it attached when taking off red backing, if possible.
* They look and work Great.
* Instructions are a bit unclear about where and how to install the (RED) 3M Tabs.
* I Would have thought Black tape would have been used instead of Red.
* I'm still not sure where/How to install Tabs???
The 3M Dual Lock Velcro is indeed black. The red you see is just the protective film. You peel the red film off to expose the adhesive and press in place following the included instructions. I replied to your email as well. Thank you for your review!

These covers are cut to fit and easy to install. We have had some very hot sunny days recently and now with these covers on my head doesn’t feel as scorched by the sun as before.
