We made this 6.2L emblem as a test for a new 3-color engraving material. The surface layer is matte white then depending on how deep you engrave, either red or black will show through. It's a unique material that will allow increased detail and color emblems. Measures 6" x 2" x 1/16" thick.
Here is an example of our Custom Satin Brushed 2-Color Emblem. This Red Hellhound badge was made from our 1/16” thick, Composite Acrylic material. The automotive grade, UV rated material comes in a variety of color combinations...
Sometimes we use real wood like this solid Walnut we engraved and cut to make emblem sized items. These will be used inside only but are finished with a hand rubbed oil finish. They could stand up to exterior use on a show car but I wouldn't recommend wood on a daily driver. Nothing beats the look of real wood though. Measures 1-1/2" x 1" x 1/8" thick.
